TRANSITION AND DEVELOPING ECONOMIES AWARD 2021<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Previously known as the \u2018Global South Award<\/em>\u2019, the International Public Policy Association<\/strong> awards the\u00a0Transition and Developing Economies Award<\/strong>\u00a0biennially to an academic employed on a full-time basis in a university located in a country identified as a developing or transition economy, and whose publications (book or articles) are directly related to public policy and\/or public administration issues in one or more such countries. The award recognizes the outstanding contribution of a mid-career to senior scholar to the development of the field of Public Policy and\/or Public Administration within either a developing or transition country contexts. The successful candidate will have an established record of theoretical and empirical scholarly publications as well as service to the profession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To be eligible for 2021 Award, the nominee should be academic employed on a full-time basis in a university located in a country identified as a developing economy, and whose publications (book or articles) are directly related to public policy and\/or public administration issues in one or more of the identified countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Self-nomination is not allowed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The call for nominations will be open from 2<\/strong> November 2020 – 8 January 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Award winner will be determined by a jury established by IPPA. The jury will be chaired\u00a0by: Prof. Jose-Luis Mendez (El Colegio Mexico)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nomination Guideline<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Nominations for the Transition and Developing Economies Award must be submitted online via the IPPA website by one correspondent who has compiled all the relevant materials of the candidate into one single file submission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
