Los autores van m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del debate establecido sobre los estados desarrollistas en el este de Asia al destacar una comprensi\u00f3n mucho m\u00e1s amplia del desarrollo y un contexto econ\u00f3mico global muy diferente. Tambi\u00e9n fomentan el debate existente al cubrir nuevos casos de pa\u00edses.
