{"id":7829,"date":"2016-05-04T10:51:42","date_gmt":"2016-05-04T13:51:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/alacip.org\/?p=7829"},"modified":"2016-05-04T10:51:42","modified_gmt":"2016-05-04T13:51:42","slug":"beca-de-doctorado-en-university-of-geneva","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alacip.org\/?p=7829","title":{"rendered":"Beca de Doctorado en University of Geneva"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Three Doctoral Fellowships in Comparative Political Economy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>University of Geneva<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Professors Lucio Baccaro and Jonas Pontusson of the University of Geneva are seeking to fill three doctoral fellowships (\u201c<em>candocs\u201d<\/em>) of three years each for a research project on the political economy of growth models financed by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF).<\/p>\n<p>The fellowships\u2019 thematic focuses are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wage bargaining, growth models, and socioeconomic outcomes (e.g. wages, economic growth, employment, inequality);<\/li>\n<li>The politics of monetary policy, fiscal policy, and taxation;<\/li>\n<li>Institutional and policy determinants of export success, particularly in tradable services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Candidates holding a Master\u2019s degree in Political Science, Sociology, Socio-Economics, or Economics (orientation: Macroeconomics or Labor Economics) are invited to apply.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The deadline for applications is June 1, 2016. The starting date is in principle September 1, 2016. <\/strong>Doctoral fellows financed by the SNSF receive a stipend of CHF 47,000-50,000 per year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Candidates\u2019 application packages should be sent preferably by email. Please include: (1) curriculum vitae; (2) Master\u2019s thesis or other research paper; (3) letter of motivation; (4) university transcripts (not necessarily official); and (5) contact details of at least one referee.
