New Version: Manifesto Project Dataset 2019b and Manifesto Project South America Dataset 2019b
With the version 2019b of the Manifesto Project, we added data for the
following elections: Denmark 2015, Finland 2015, Iceland 2017, Latvia
2018, Norway 2017. For all changes see the release notes of the dataset:

We have also updated the South America Dataset by adding data for the
Brazilian election in 2018.
You can download both datasets from our website:
https://manifesto-project.wzb.eu (login required to download the dataset),
or use our R package manifestoR or our stata add-on manifestata to
download the dataset directly into your preferred statistical software
using the Manifesto API.
The Manifesto Corpus – the companion collection of digitalized and
partially annotated electoral programs – with version 2019-2 now also
contains information on the same set of elections mentioned above.
Research fellow position in the Manifesto Project
We have a job offer for a new research fellow position starting in March
2020.
The application deadline is 27.01.2020. If you have always been wondering
why a specific election is not coded quicker, if you always had ideas how
